Input Characters (-inp)

Use Input Characters (-inp) to expand the available buffer space for a single statement.

The number of characters allowed in a single statement. The default is 4,096 characters.

If not in use and 4,096 characters is exceeded in a statement, Progress displays a message stating that the statement is too long and advises you to increase the number of input characters using the -inp parameter.
